Rumstick Modern Residence: Clean Living
For these former Londoners, a waterfront home did not mean clinging to certain colors or ocean-themes—rather a bright, warm and modern representation of clean living. Black, white and a dose of bright colors here
and there became our mantra. We replaced the floors, updated the staircase with a modern twist and
glass rails and completely renovated the kitchen. We added modern lighting where the house
craved it, replaced tired furnishings with dazzling new pieces and left anything bare
that called for simplicity. The result is a London flat—coastal style.
